About Tiefenbrunner - Kellerei und Jausenstation

Since 1848, the Tiefenbrunner family has been committed to viticulture at Schloss Turmhof - wines are their history, their present, but also their future.

The Schlosskellerei Turmhof is already being run very successfully by the fifth generation. It is with great pleasure that the extensive range of white and red wines is presented in the historical flair of the castle garden, under ancient shade-giving trees or in the cosy Zirmstuben, accompanied by hearty bacon, exquisite cheese or homemade liver pâté with spicy farmhouse bread. You can taste all available wines in the form of the wine carousel and then purchase them in the on-site wine shop.

The variety of wines comes from the family's own vineyard of about 25 hectares in Entiklar, Kurtatsch and Margreid - at altitudes between 250 and 1,000 metres. In addition, the winery is supplied by around 40 winegrowers who have been loyal to the winery for many years and who themselves cultivate an area of around 45 ha.

In the castle winery, tradition meets innovation and together a quality wine with character is being created-  and now these wines outlast short-lived trends through their uniqueness.

This wealth of years of experience has been shaped by keywords such as personality, tradition and elegance, which we live by with consistency - for the sake of the environment and sustainability!
