Restaurant Scotoni Hütte
About Restaurant Scotoni Hütte
The Scotoni mountain lodge is an exceptional, historic refuge in the Ladin Dolomites. Built in 1967, the lodge has since become a popular stop for mountain lovers who hike the bordering Dolomite high trail and are looking for a rest.
The Scotoni mountain lodge can be reached on foot via various routes in 40 minutes to 3 hours. If you want to reach the Scotoni Hut on skis, you will find yourself directly on the World War II route when you go up. The approachable alpacas, which welcome every hiker in front of the hut, look forward to your arrival.
The refuge's cuisine is famous for its delicious grilled meat dishes served with polenta and melted cheese, for its excellent homemade pasta and Kaiserschmarren. The steaks come from a famous Italian butcher and are really worth trying!
With a wine list of 550 different labels, the Scotoni Refuge has something for everyone. This makes the lodge a true paradise for wine lovers! Another speciality of the lodge is its own mineral water. The "Ega Scotoni" is served to guests directly from the spring.
