About Neuhütt hut
On a picturesque glade in the midst of untouched nature you can find the Neuhütt Alm at 1,791metres above sea level, situated above the village of Aldein. The area in the southern part of South Tyrol is a true hiker's paradise for young and old. And a visit to the Neuhütt Alm is definitely a highlight all year round - whether in spring on a hike during the flowering season, in summer with your mountainbike or in winter during a snowshoe hike through the winter wonderland. You can reach the hut from Aldein, Deutschenofen and the Jochgrimm. Once you have reached the hut, you will be greeted by a breath-taking view of the mountain Weißhorn and the mountain massifs of the Rosengarten and Latemar, truly a picture-perfect backdrop. Hiking certainly makes hungry and thirsty, but don't worry, Kathrin Pichler and her team will prepare for you fresh homemade dishes and traditional South Tyrolean dishes. If you prefer to hike up to the Neuhütt Alm hut in the early afternoon, you can still enjoy the delicious creations until 7:00 pm.
