About Klausner Hut

The Klausner Hut is located at 1920 metres above sea level in the Sarntal Alps at the foot of the Lorenzispitze. Whether in summer on foot or by mountain bike, whether in winter with toboggan, snowshoes or touring skis, the Klausner Hütte is a destination for young and old all year round. Enjoy the excellent South Tyrolean cuisine and a delicious drink in the restaurant or on the spacious terrace. With a magnificent view of the Dolomites, the Obrist family extends a warm welcome to all guests.


Experience Klausner Hut:

The Klausner Hut can accommodate 22 overnight guests. We have a cozy double bed room, a double bunk bed room, a pretty 8-bed room and a pretty 10-bed multi-bed room. For questions or reservations please just contact us by mail or phone.

The path to us:

From the Kühhof car park you can reach our hut in one hour via a forest path. From the Steineben car park you will also need an hour, but this ascent is somewhat steeper and more strenuous. The Klausner hut is a good starting point for short or long hikes such as to the Latzfonser Kreuz (1.0 h), to the Radlseehütte (1.5 h) or to the Stöffelhütte (2.0 h).

Summer season: May to October, open daily

Winter season: from the end of December to the end of February, open Friday to Sunday. During the South Tyrolean school holidays, open daily.
