Buchnerhof
About Buchnerhof
Lajen-Ried is well known as the cradle of the ‘Törggele’ culture, when the season’s new wine is served up with accompanying farmhouse fare in autumn. However, guests will enjoy a stop here at any time of year. The Schenk family dishes up seasonal delicacies from the garden and wine cellar in the 17th century panelled farmhouse parlour both in winter and spring.
The current opening hours can be found on the homepage.

The 2021 Müller Thurgau is cleanly fruity and reminiscent of citrus fruit. The 2021 Portugieser is likewise cleanly fruity, yet more reminiscent of red-fleshed fruit such as strawberry and cherry. The 2021 Zweigelt has a rather blackcurrant fragrance, accompanied by a little sour cherry. This wine is refreshing and lively in the mouth with a delicately bitter aftertaste.
