About Waidmannalm

In the 1950s, the beautifully situated Waidmannalm was only used by the Ladurner family as a summer retreat, and it was not until the 1960s that it was turned into a small alpine farm during the summer months. Over the years, improvements and renovations were made and the first terrace was added. Finally, in 1989, the young Hanspeter Ladurner and his family took over the Waidmannalm and have been running it ever since, with a lot of commitment and love.

The Waidmannalm is quite easy to reach from Pfiffinger Köpfl, you will hardly need more than about 45 minutes. The path should also be manageable with an all-terrain buggy. Once at the top, a playground awaits the little ones and the sun terrace awaits the grown-ups.

The culinary focus is on traditional South Tyrolean dishes. Nocken and dumplings are always on the menu, but pasta dishes, Schlutzkrapfen and a juicy roast as the main course are also popular. Strudel, Kaiserschmarrn and buckwheat Cake are of course standards among South Tyrolean baked goods and are almost always available fresh.
