Welcome to the Kräuteralm Riesa in the beautiful Ahrntal, a side valley of the Puster Valley. Situated at an altitude of 1442 m near the village of Weißenbach, the small and charming mountain hut is a popular destination in summer and winter for nature and mountain lovers on the hiking trails above Luttach.

Particularly suitable for families with children and easily accessible with prams, the Kräuteralm serves homemade dishes from South Tyrolean cuisine and special children's menus. Josef, the chef and owner, personally cooks all the recipes with great passion and dedication.

During the summer, you can make yourself comfortable on the sunny terrace with rustic wooden tables and enjoy the delicious grilled specialities, seasonal mountain herb dishes and cold cuts.

A visit to the hut is also worthwhile in winter: ideal for Törggele evenings with friends and wild game specialities in autumn, the magnificent snowy landscapes in winter create a magical atmosphere and the paths leading there offer a wonderful winter view of the Rieserfernergruppe.

Pets are also always welcome at the Kräuteralm Riesa: They can look forward to a bowl of fresh water, while children can have lots of fun on the lawn and in the playground.
