First mentioned in records in 1379, Fronthof farm is the largest fully-preserved farmhouse in South Tyrol built on a steep slope from stone and is something special. The old, panelled dining rooms provides the ideal setting for special occasions and makes a great stopping point after a walk along the 'Oachner Höfeweg' Farmstead Trail.

''Speck', smoked sausage, speck dumplings, ‘Schlutzer’ ravioli, herb 'Knödel' dumplings. In autumn roast spare ribs, meat cuts, black pudding, chestnuts, ‘Kloatzenkrapfen’ fried pastries. In spring and summer wholewheat crispbread ravioli, ricotta dumplings, ravioli with seasonal fillings, beef or pork specialities from own herd. Juices: apple, raspberry, elderflower and mint.
The 2021 Pinot Blanc displays good body in the mouth and very lively acidity. The 2021 Sylvaner is reminiscent of pineapple and banana. The 2021 Kerner displays clear notes of citrus and passion fruit. The 2021 Sauvignon is very typical and reminiscent of lemon and grapefruit, in particular. The 2019 Zweigelt is fruity and spicy in aroma and pleasantly fresh and full-bodied in the mouth. The 2020 Pinot Noir is very typically fruity and very long and full-bodied in the mouth.
